I am a writer

I had been a writer long before I returned to the University to earn a Ph.D. in sociology. I had written for many newspapers and magazines over the years; mostly on secular topics. Recently I have published some religious essays. See Articles

First Book

My first book, co-authored with a colleague, was Finding Love: Creative Strategies for Finding your Ideal Mate. Drs. Margaret O'Connor & Jane Silverman, Crown Publishing, New York, 1989. Our book involved hundreds of personal interviews to examine the sociological reasons for the difficulties men and women were having finding partners in today’s world.
